Anyone have a recommendation for a pistol magazine loader? My wife has a Taurus G2C and the mags are a bear to load.

I have seen a few around that went for $30 or so, but wasn’t sure if I may want a specific brand?

I just saw some of these uplula at cabelas, but didn’t pull the trigger, since it’s an hour from the house and didn’t want to mess with a return if it was junk.

Uplula's are salty for what they are, but they do work great, especially if youre loading a lot of mags at one time. Or even just one.

I used the Lula when I was a match shooter. It loads those mags quick and your thumb will thanks you!

squeeze, drop in, squeeze, drop in!

I bought a Butler Creek loader, 'cause it was the only one stocked at my LGS.

I wouldn't recommend it. The spring that pushes the cartridge into the mag is too weak and I have to assist it with every cartridge.

Just got a couple of the universal 9mm-45acp uplulas from gooutdoorsgear.com. They cost less than others and have free shipping. They are also a certified dealer for maglula.

Do NOT buy an Uplula on eBay. I bought some for gifts at Christmas. Each worked for a couple of hundred rounds and then the spring became very weak and you couldn't load anymore. A call to the manufacturer and they said a ton were coming in from China and even though the package and the loader looked like the real deal, they were fakes. They aren't cheap, but the real ones are worth the money.

For the money spent, i disagree. Though i have not used many others for rifles, i will say. I think it works very slick. They can be a bit awkward until you get the rhythm of it.
You should take a look at the latest on the market: the C.A.M. Loader from ETS...about $12 less than the Uplula for rifles

I'd even consider it the best loader for handguns (about $5 less than the Uplula for handguns)...certainly the fastest...except you need a separate one if you're loading 9mm/.40 and .45ACP
