Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Never heard of a pistol can. Is it a silencer?
Pretty much, call it a silencer as in old school. sound suppressor or can since it looks like a can screwed onto the barrel. :)
Silencer Shop:
"It's important to remember that yes, silencers are legal in 42 states. They don't require any special class of license to own. But there are a lot of relevant federal laws governing the purchase and use of silencers — you can read more about them here — and Silencer Shop is here to help you navigate suppressor laws by state".

Speaking of can, I saw a video where a guy used an automobile spin-on oil filters to make a silencer. Worked pretty good and really did look like a can on the end of the gun.

I made two very simple purchases at Wal-Mart, some Hoppes #9 and Hoppes Gun Medic Spray. In the last three years. I have been concentrating on revolver shooting. However, with the the international situation being what it is I have been shooting my AR SKS and riot gun quite a bit lately and used up all my solvents and most of my gun oil.

And illegal if the adapter isn't registered...........can you even do that?

As I recall, the guy in the video said he did get the legal paperwork or whatever to do it even though it was just an oil filter, he was using it as a silencer. Here it is. He talks about the legal part at 0:50 and again about 6:05. Jokingly (I hope) he notes below the video,
"*2022 update* -- the ATF is now saying simply owning a oil filter may be a violation of the NFA"

And I did purchase two oil filters last Saturday (no silencer, but for the motor home engine and generator).

A friend just called about our Regularly Scheduled Thursdayrita, beating the Friday crowd at Mexican cafe.
Well sure.
Then he added, "Can we stop by the gun store/range to pick up my new purchase?"
I said, "Sure, are we going to try it out before we get into the tequila?"
He replied "Oh, no, I have to get it home and clean and inspect it before shooting."
And he didn't even say what it is. I guess I will see.

S&W M41 so he can have separate iron and optic sight guns.

1400 round Bucket Of Bullets from Remington ( Golden Bullets ) They work real well out of my revolver and were .08 cents per round. Down .02 cents from the last time I bought them.
