Anybody heard anything on Alliant?
I know there are shortages but I've been looking for Unique and AR-Comp for a few years now with no luck.
Have notifications on Midway, Brownells, etc.
Thanks

Not sure what their pre-plandemic obligations were but it seems like most of their production is going to the manufacturing sector. I have seen some Alliant products on the “Where are…” thread but they’re sold out at higher than normal prices before I get the link loaded.

There was a shipment of AR Comp maybe 6-8 months ago at powder valley, other than that I haven't seen it or unique in a long time.

Places like Powder Valley, Graffs, & Midsouth Shooter's Supply seem to be getting powder in from Alliant that sells for bulk pricing in line with other manufacturers Post-Pandemic pricing but I have not really seen any Unique or AR-Comp lately.

I'm also looking for Unique, but I haven't seen any shotgun powder for 4 years. And only a couple of pistol and rifle powders, none of the ones you want.

I was at a local shop yesterday and I was shocked to see Bullseye and Unique in 8 pound bottles! They were slightly costly at $299 each though. They also had 1lb bottles of 2400, W231, W296, H110, IMR4831 and a few others. I did not see any Varget but the Bullseye and Unique in 8 pounders was a surprise. The 1lb bottles were mostly $37.50.

Of course no primers were in stock.

I stopped in Shyda's in Lebabon, PA the other day and was surprised at the selection available. Most manufacturers were well represented and prices were reasonable. I picked up some Bullseye and Accurate #5 just because I hadn't seen any in quite some time. The IMR family was well represented also (except for 4227 which is what I was looking for. They also had shotshell primers in good supply at around $70/1000.

The shop is Bears Gun Room in Wilkes Barre, PA.

They are showing up, and selling out.....

FAST! My lgs had a LOT of 1lb bottles of Red Dot, 2400 and Unique when I called. Waited two days, 64 RD remaind, 0 2400, 0 Unique when I got there. I bought 1 ib of RD to try in .45 Colt. Called back a couple days later, nothing left of those three and no Hodgdon anything. Yes, it goes fast.
