What is the last gun that you bought?

The wife and I went Gun shopping yesterday. She had shot my Glock 43 and loved it and decided she wanted one of her own. She saw the robin egg blue framed 43 and had to have it, then she spotted the Glock 42 in 380 and held it. She couldn’t make up her mind so she took a page out of my playbook and bought them both. What a woman! While we were there she told me to pick out something pretty for myself so I grabbed a Savage A22 FVSR. Best date ever!

She got a sister!?!? :feet: Just kidding of course. Sounds like you picked a winner! A 43 or 43x are on my radar, but im just not a 9mm guy.

I picked this CMP 1911 up the day after my birthday this year. Didn't plan on it being a birthday present to myself since I waited over a year for my number to come up, it just worked out that way. It's a 1945 Remington Rand frame and slide with a 1985 replacement barrel but no arsenal rebuild, and, as best I can see, has not been re-parked, so it has the used look I wanted. This one brings me back a few years.

Yeah, I'd say so too!

It's a bit of an understatement here but you most definitely have one great wife there!

At that rate you need 5 more before the New Year! ;)
Oh, my goal is to surpass that by a few....
I have 5 cats living inside my house, 5-6 living outside as well as 2 fat, lazy raccoons and I feed a local colony of 10 or so cats. The price of wet cat food has skyrocketed this last year or I would already have 5 more by now.

Well once again, it looks like I’ve fallen behind! Four guns to report: a S&W 1911SC, Mauser P38, FN M1922, and a Tisas MILSTD 1911A1. The Smith feeds my 1911 fetish, the Mauser fits in my WW II collection, and the FN fills both the WW II and John Moses Browning niche! The Tisas is a project gun to practice my 1911 gunsmithing.

One hour ago, traded in the Seacamp on a brand new Beretta Tomcat .32 ACP!
Ding, dong, the Seacamp's gone, the nasty Seacamp is gone! :)
Way better hand fit, mag release is out of the way so won't accidentally release, never need to rack the slide as it is double action with tip-up barrel, and it cannot be put out of battery at least for the first shot, would have to think about the slide and follow-up shots.

my first gun and also my brother who was 2 years younger. Our granddad bought us a Winchester model 67A 22 single shot. I was 10 and my brother was 8. that was 60 years ago. Have had many since then but that was the first..

Do you still have that gun? I still have my first gun (if I don't count the Daisy BB gun), a Winchester Model 97 12 gauge shotgun my grandfather bought in the 1950s.

I now have three 1911s, one tisas/SDS 1911 carry, 45 acp, a american tactical 1911 commander size 45acp, a COLT 1911 38 super, reworked with barsto barrel and bushing, beavertail grip safety and hard crome frame.
Looks a lot like a pistol colt used to make called the combat elite, with a conversion kit for 9mm. a tauras 22/22mag with interchangable cylinders, and AN UBERTI EL PATRON in 45 colt.an AR-10, 308 winchester, a Ruger American left handed bolt action 30-06, a Henry 45-70, Henry 22 golden boy, and an old H & R single shot 45-70. two shotguns, a Mossberg maverick 12 guage pump, and an Ithaca model 37 12 guage
