I wanted and still want one of those RedHawks. Model 5050.
I haven’t seen one on a store shelf / display since 2018.

Think the 5050 is the old model with 1 piece barrel. The 5032 may be the newer 2 piece barrel. Not 100% sure

It says Model 5032 on the box and SN is 2018.

I am pretty sure Ruger phased out that model number a couple of years ago. For a time they had 5032 and 5050 listed at the same time.
The only difference that I could see between them was the 5032 had light colored (almost reddish) wood grips and the front sight had the orange insert. The 5050 has darker grips and a black ramped front sight.

Regardless, you have a nice revolver. Congratulations.

Yes and the front blade is changeable on the 5032 and not a 2 piece barrel. Not that the 2 piece is better or worse as I have read it both ways. My S&W 69 is 2 piece and it's good.

Dicky....Nice...love the versatility of the 45ACP/45 Colt package. I would get a competent smith to serrate the crown like a Mossberg breacher barrel, load it with 310 grain wide meplat hard casts and use it as my dedicated close quarters entry weapon for the post apocalypse environment....I'm only partially kidding about that

Top is .44 Mag...I consider it less a revolver and more of a concealable mortar...It's satisfying to hear the gong ring once or twice per cylinder at 50 and VERY satisfying at 100 yards.

The bottom Redhawk is in .45 Colt only...Both guns primarily see hot and heavy loads...I don't shoot them often but when I do its ear-to-ear grinning time...I believe I bought them in the first six month of the Trump administration...Just showed up out of the blue one day...Was looking for the .45 Colt for almost 3 years.

I got my first 44 magnum in 1974. Love em all.

Got the Redhawk today. I had to do some election type duty this afternoon so I only got to fire off a few cylinders. I'm glad I had studied up and already had some aftermarket items here before the gun arrived. The double action pull was too high for my Lyman pull gauge and the single action pull was almost 10 lbs. Firing 45 acp with the factory grips was ok but some medium 45 Colts I have loaded hurt. When I got home I installed a Wolff mainspring and a Hogue grip. Tomorrow I'll see if it does any light strikes and I know the grip is Way Better. Oh, 9lb 1oz average double action and 6 lbs single action.
