Pro tip: make sure your fuse is long enough. My buddy as a teenager thought it would be funny to stick an M80 in a pile of dog poop and light it. Unfortunately for him, he was 5 or 6 feet away and accelerating when the thing went off and caught him in the splatter zone.
THAT FUNNY!!! we did the same to a rotting animal full of magots!!! Magots Don’t taste good!

have you ever tried a In-Line? the name is a huge turn off!

Nope and not going too. I held one once. I tried to get my BIL to let me teach him something about shooting bp so he wouldn't lose any more deer with it but he gave it away.

Never liked inlines, never will. It's not that they aren't well made for the most part, most are, I just don't like the attitudes that go along with them, such as " lets stick 3 Pyrodex pellets down the barrel and not do any load development. " Would much rather use a traditional one and traditional methods. Plus the traditional ones are way cooler.

I get it, it’s a HC hunters rifle, they want to extend their hunting season. I don’t hate on anybody’s hobby. But I think the idea is cool. And why do they call it inline? I just want to get the biggest bore they make and bust my shoulder with stinky Pyrodex

An inline has the primer directly behind the powder charge like a revolver. There are a few examples of inlines in history but they never caught on. If you want a shoulder buster you don't need an inline. A SXS shotgun with a steel butt plate that weighs around five pounds and loaded with 100 grains of powder behind a .690 ball will let you know when you pull the trigger.

I use loose powder, usually T7, in my inlines. One actually shoots best with 100 grains and a 250 gr Hornady SST in a sabot. The other is 85 grains with a 240 gr Hornady XTP MAG. There are probably more options for load work-ups for inlines than traditional guns and rifles. But, the best is usually advised in the users manual. Not for everyone, but I tend to respect what other people like regarding guns and motorcycles, even if I don't prefer it. I like all muzzleloaders, and I'm not a Harley snob either. Sometimes it's fun to hop on a sport bike.

100% you don’t know, what you don’t know!

I am a Harley snob. I started with all the other bikes, Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's. Triumphs and BSA's. I had a nice Kawasaki 650 with a full fairing when I got my first Harley. I rode it once after I got the Harley and it felt like riding a sawhorse on wheels. I parked it in the backyard and let it rot. I do like a good dirt bike tho. I'm too old and decrepit to ride one now tho.

Yeah I've ridden a lot too, but I always 2 finger wave other riders whatever they ride, and I appreciate other gun enthusiasts, whatever they shoot. I'm nothing but consistent.
