Nice, let’s hope it’s a good one!
Nice, I had to send my .32 H&R Professional back. Came back perfect, I have enjoyed playing with it quite a bit. I need to email them and see if they cannot make one with adjustable sights like the Bulldog Target. Sights that move would be great for my handloads.I have to wait a while till I get one …
Its the setup I mentioned to Charter Arms via email when they first announced the 6 shot 32 H&R
Next .. Id like to see a 8 shot 22 mag in the same setup

The package I have been waiting for ..
Hopefully they have the kinks worked out of it
Its not listedWhere's the link on the CA website?
That photo looks like a 5-shot .38 Special.
Would love one of these!
It's not a question of being decently built it's a question of quality control and quality assurance doing their job.Yeah, a small six shot snub in a caliber that will do the job. Looks like a winner if they are decently built.

IMO, 22 Mag should have a 3" barrel. With 22 WMR in a small gun like this, an extra inch of barrel makes a huge difference.I have to wait a while till I get one …

Out of curiosity, what was wrong with it?Nice, I had to send my .32 H&R Professional back. Came back perfect, I have enjoyed playing with it quite a bit. Oh, that's great, they even encourage us to do it ourselves. The Big Boys would never do that; lawyers have too tight a reign. It is great to see Charter arms doing more with .32 H&R magnums. That said Charter arms does sell a double action only hammer that you can install if that on any other models I believe.

It started locking up after around 250 rounds. Intermittent but there. I knew I was going to send it back so never did any exploratory. Came back with a new trigger and a solid very nice action. The report was not very specific.IMO, 22 Mag should have a 3" barrel. With 22 WMR in a small gun like this, an extra inch of barrel makes a huge difference.

Yes, there are lots of comments on quality issues at Charter. I think they need to take a step back and re-evaluate their Quality Control process instead of just launching new models one after the other with questionable quality.
We should differentiate that the "new" Charter Arms is different than the previously-owned version, which was different than the originally owned CA.
Originally, it was owned by the founder. That floundered due to massive competition from S&W, Colt and Ruger in the revolver heyday. Then, some money-grubber bought the company and ran it into the ground without investing in it at all. Now, the son of the founder owns it again and is trying to turn it around. Employs lots of women, listens to customers, fixes problems. But we should not still be having QC problems at this stage, so there's still work to do.

I just found a hen's tooth Smith and Wesson .32 H&R magnum for $410. The only thing I don't like about it is the Built-in lock which I will probably get a plug to replace.
I agree. The design itself goes back many years and is well proven. It’s the finish and QC that is the issue. It's not a question of being decently built it's a question of quality control and quality assurance doing their job.
