If this is braggin', so be it!

Back in the last century I tried my hand at holster making. Got pretty good at it but lost my zeal for the work. Decided to leave that to the professionals. But here is one I made, back around 1975 or so:

Here is the same holster some forty five years later:

That is the same gun, so the date is around 1981 or so, as I acquired the gun 1n 1979. And, yes, I got rid of that beavertail hammer!

The holster is my rendition of the Lawrence No. 120 that Keith so favored.

I swap out the hammers on all my Super Blackhawks. The narrow hammer spur sort of "digs" into the flesh of my thumb giving me a more positive grip. I don't feel as secure with that wide beavertail hammer spur.
