Just sharing pics of my favorite .357 K-Frames. The 66-2 (top) is my first S&W revolver. The 66-1 is 1 of 5 that were shipped to the Sangamon County (Illinois) Sheriff's office in March of 1980.

13-3, and 66-4...would love to have the 'unicorn' 'grail' 3" Model 19..the early one, not the PC version. 0% chance, but it's okay to dream.

Nice! I am a fan of K frames. I often carry my 3” Model 13-4. I also enjoy shooting my 1st year no-dash Model 67. Nice comfy size, even if I prefer the N-frame.

Thanks!
3" 13s are perfect carry revolvers. I carried the 66-2 for years but eventually converted to a bottom feeder M&P

Guys your killing me. I have never owned a K frame. Nor can I make that happen right now. These are all beautiful. I held one in my hand and realized why so many old timers loved them. My dream gun is a model 13, 3 inch. I will find one at some point.

I do feel for you...S&W just didn't make enough of those 13s...and the current prices of S&Ws...sheesh. The "old timers" may have had to spend a week or two's pay to get what they wanted back whenever, and most of those in the pics cost me what the going prices were at the time of purchase. Thanks to dealer greed i got the 66-4 for much less than what they typically sold for at that time. A private seller brought it along to a gun show and every dealer that looked at it told him that they could not make enough profit at his price. I thank those greedy dealers.
Stay in the hunt.

Mope540, Those are some really nice K-Frames. The K-Frames definitely hit a sweet spot in the revolver world. My only remaining K-Frame is a 66 no-dash that I bought back in the '70s. I carried the 66 until the L-Frames were introduced several years later. Also shot it recreationally, mostly with Magnum ammo. I sent it back to S&W in '80 and had it completely overhauled. The old gun has led an easy life since.
