Reloading Certification

NRA offers a course.
i think it would be more recognized than an on-line one
had it for years and gave it up the 1st of this year cause
there is such a thing as stupid questions
and they have no place in a reloading class.put another way---
many asking questions outside the box having not done the basic
reading before class and thinking they 'knew' how and were 'entitled'

as for discounts.....don't know

Total bull****. They are IMHO just trying to play off the good reputation of University of Phoenix online classes.

If I recall correctly, the NRA has a certification program for reloading instructors.

As far as buying reloading components at wholesale prices, there are already big discounts available to everybody for buying in bulk. Check out http://powdervalleyinc.com for prices of 8# jugs of powder, Midwayusa.com for 1000-packs of bulk bullets, etc.

more like advertising PR to get you to shell out mucho denaro for their class, when most of the info. is already available online for free.

then they probably have at least 10 min. out of every 30 min. devoted to banal safety warnings, made over and over.

simply call Midway, or Midsouth or Graphf's and ask them "do you give a discount for ""certified"" reloaders.

At least it would look neat above your loading bench...Framed and all. Right next to your CCW badge...

Phoenix State University is nothing more then an internet scam.

They have no campus, no address, no phone number, and no contact info on thier website except an email address listing themselves as the host server.
They do accept Pay-Pal though!

There is no such thing as a "Certified Reloader", any more then there is "grandfathered in CCW instructors" who are not subject to proposed gun bans by Obama..

Its a scam to get your money, nothing more!

Why bother with a $99 two week "course", use your own printer to make a flowery looking diploma and get your daddy and grandmama to sign it for you. That will get you as much discount value as the paid for but equally phony one will.

You can call or email Midway, Wideners, Graf and Sons and see if they give "certified reloaders" dealers prices. My bet is on no way.

They also have a bait shop Baiters degree. For $49 you get your minor and for $99 you can get your Masters

There is no need to send them $99.00 for a certificate, for $50.00 I'll send you one that'll be just as valid. Do you want it blue, green or red?

Your certificate will NOT be recognized by the trade, wholesalers, manufacturers, ATF, insurers or City and State business licensing departments like it is with PSU. The "tools" they offer are a small caliper gauge and a screwdriver set you can get from Brownell's or Numrich for $29. How do you spell rip off?(hmmmmmmm, irony?) Reality... PSU is the ONLY accredited online University with Reloading and Gunsmith programs that offers grads equipment financing, wholesale trade acceptance, and approval by all major insurers, manufacturers and distributors.

The easier way to do that is to get a C&R FFL for $30 every 3 years. Several outfits, MidwayUSA for one, give dealer pricing to C&R license holders.

It's a scam. Go for a C&R FFL.. maybe a tax license if you want to cut out of tax locally on big purchases..

Anyone dumb enough to believe that kind of nonsense probably doesn't have $99.
