Carryable and fun to shoot? I'd go with the Bersa (just be sure to get some extra magazines at the same time since they seem as common as hen's teeth).
The LCP is great, and I carry one, but I wouldn't rate it as 'fun to shoot'.
You can get a 9mm about the same size for the same price. Why compromise if you are going to be at that size?No personal experience, but I've read good reviews of the Bersa "Thunder" series. These are not really pocket-sized except in maybe a trench coat, but are still very slim and compact for a belt gun.
The LCP is not painful it just jumps alot. Perfectly adequate for what it is needed for.This. LCP is NOT in any way fun to shoot. In fact, it's the exact opposite of fun to shoot. It's frustrating and painful.
The bersa is a complete joy to shoot. I own 8 handguns, and my bersa is probably my favorite to shoot. Mild recoil, nice trigger, VERY accurate. It conceals easily in a IWB holster and is pretty light.
You'd be broke too.I carry a LCP. Try shooting 100 rounds in a session through one, then let me know whether or not you think it's painful
