This ammo has been backordered now for 6 months I have been waiting for it. Any idea why it is taking so long?
Anyone know where I can get this ammo now?

People are hording it to barter with and to hunt small game in preparation for the next American Revolution...

I see stingers are running $14/100 at some shops. My Sig Mosquito came with $4 off/box coupons- 5 box max. Brought them down to $10. OUCH!

CCI segmented HP .22...I played with those a while back and you can keep them. Inaccurate and not what I call a quality .22 round. I use CCI Mini Mags in 40 grain. Need no improvement...

That was actually "Quik Shock" and they were not the same.

I have never heard of Stingers being segmented.

I would never pay those prices or wait for six months to do it. I've noticed that CCI prices have gotten ridiculous.

Aguila has their super Maximum at 1750fps and the Interceptor at 1470fps. The Interceptor is much like the Rem yellow jacket. Not hard to believe being that Remington owns the Aguila factory.
If you want segments, cross hatch the bullet with a blade.

NCsmitty

You have a point NCsmitty, but for one problem. And the problem is with my Winchester Mod 290. I have worked and reworked the feed lips on this rifle and tried every conceivable manufacturer of .22 LR...CCI- Mini-Mags are the only round that this rifle feeds reliably.

The Stinger Segmented do break into three pieces probably tearing up lots of meat in the process. They do not feed reliably nor are the all that accurate in my various rifles and pistol (Woodsman)...

I have all the Aguilar rounds including the subsonic ones. My order for CCI Stinger Segmented HP just got filled. That's very interesting that Remington owns Aguilar. The same company that makes the Viper and Yellow Jacket .22 LR. I guess it is like tires and car batteries there are a few companies but maybe for here that make all the ammo?

Does the Quik-Shot tear up the meat more than the stinger segmented HP?
