Sig P220 Holsters ok for P220 Carry?

As you mentioned, the length is different (about 1/2"), so I'm assuming you're talking about putting a 220 Carry into a longer 220 holster. The 220 Carry is thicker at the top of the slide, and this can be a problem, especially with kydex holsters. It isn't really an issue with leather holsters. With a slide holster like the Tucker Answer, you can actually have one holster that works well with both guns just by adjusting the tension. I hope this answers your question.

I carry a P220, P226 and P6 in the same two leather holsters (triple K secret agent belt slide and blackhawk IWB). Here are links to both holsters

Not a molded Kydex type holster.


The Carry is .01 inches wider then the standard P220 and will not fight in those holsters like the Blackhawk Serpa and Safariland 6360.
