Well I put the sixth hundred round through my P238 today and still have not had any kind of malfunction and it still has the original recoil spring in too.

I love shooting this gun!:)

I miss mine that i traded in on only god knows what.
It just needed some mag tweaks and it ran perfect for several hundred rounds before i traded it. I also carried it cocked and locked in my back pocket in a holster and im 6'4" 270lbs. And it never had an issue from that either.

Glad to hear your works so well.

Behold the Miracle!

I had 1,400 on mine, who knows how many recoil springs, trips to Sig and never worked.

What variation and build date?

Wow Flint Ridge, what an awful experience. I have to assume you are very done with the P238. Mine was made in Nov. 2009, it's the two tone with stainless slide. My experience has been more like Kokapelli, it has been perfect and is incredibly accurate for such a small pistol. I love it, sorry your experience was so terrible!!
