Found a deal on Nosler factory seconds. 168 HPBT for 18.99 a 100. Order over 150 and its free shipping no tax (depending on your state)!! There were vendors at the gun show this weekend trying to get $33.00 a 100 for Hornady's plus tax!!! What a rip!

I've ordered some different bullets from MIdway USA that were seconds, from reputable manfr's, no problems. Some were Hornady, Speer, they are ok to load and shoot, only thing I could see was some of the bullets jackets were a bit off color, possibly water stains? They shot/shoot fine, the target doesn't know how clean/shiny the bullets are! Order and load 'em!

that's what I plan to do.. I ordered 600 168's for the M1A and the 700 Remy and 500 for my Colt AR 15 national match service rifle.. Should keep me in beans (i mean bullets) awhile.

I did get a deal on good ole Varget at the show. 160 cash and no tax for the big 8 lb canister!!

Nosler Shooters Pro Shop. Click on custom competion bullets. You will find them.

Im usually a low volume loader so I rarely order more than 2 boxes at a time. I stopped looking because of the inflated shipping rates that are mandatory-

Just got them today. They look great. What a price. Freaking Bass Pro gets $.32.00 a 100 for these and often they are sold out of ''uncoated'' and you have to buy the silly moly coated ones for an additional $2.00..

Greetings,

I just got the 30 cal 168 grains. I am looking at them and except a little difference in the HP hole, I don't see anything wrong. Anyone found what is wrong with those bullets?

Thank you

Slight discoloring is enough to send the bullets to the blemished bin. They have to be perfect to sell as first run bullets especially at the price Nosler charges!

I've used the Nosler seconds off and on for many years. Pick them up at the factory and no shipping or tax.:)

They shoot great. I've never even been able to see any blemishes at all. My theory is that it's just a way for them to sell a few bullets in their store for below what their distributors charge. It doesn't seem that long ago when they sold those particular bullets for $10/100. Last year I bought 1000 of the .30/155's for 199 shipped. That will last me for many years because I don't shoot a lot.
