It just kills me that when Bill Oriely stated that the US was attacked by Islam the liberal left screamed that you can't blam all people of Islam based on the actions of a few extremists. But now one lone gunman goes nuts and before anyone completes an investigation or even gets a motive the liberal left attacks the republicans, NRA, Tea Party and specifically Sarah Palin.

There is absolutely no sense of fariness or intellegence, its just agendas, prejudice and ignorance. Makes me sad.

His statement is as though the responsibility of freedoms are a burden to him. "I'm tired of my constitutional rights".

So... "Love it or leave it?"

No. Mr. Maher needs to take a look at Article 5 of the Constitution. I doubt he will get very far, but that's his only recourse.

That <deleted> sure enjoys his first amendment that his second amendment assures!

Regardless of what some celebrity thinks, or more to the point, what he says to make news out of himself, we are still The High Road, and this thread isn't living up to our standards.

Don't like what he says? Write to his sponsors, his network, and HIM if you feel up to it, but in the end, he's allowed to say whatever he wants and the more publicity he gets, the better he likes it.

Regardless, as there really isn't anything we can do here except insult the man -- and we don't do that -- this is closed.
