Aluminum offering from STI. Very lightweight. Thin for a double-stack.

Polymer 9mm with 3 backstraps. This feels very smooth, no sharp edges, yet still grippable. Price should be less than $700 retail.

I believe this is the LS Thin Frame. Not a new product, but amazingly slim and slick, yet still enough slide serration to give a good contact surface.

Hometown hero Larry Correia was at the STI booth signing autographs. He was kind enough to let us drool over his custom STI Perfect 10.

Yes, that is the MHI logo engraved on the slide.

The LS9 is a very good carry gun. I have one and it has become my always gun. It literally is designed for all day carry and has a very neat feature; the slide can be racked with the safety in the ON position. Nice plus for a carry gun. The front cocking serrations, though not good looking, are functional and do not tear up leather holsters. I really like the package the LS9 provides.

It also is quite accurate although the front sight, being part of the slide and very low profile, can be hard to pick up. The rear sight is a Heinie, and the serrated rear of the slide is a nice custom touch.
