Any bullet makers use paypal?

Missouri Bullet Company. Great bullets at great prices. They can ship around 2000 bullets in a flat rate box. They get them to your door fast too.

We tried to go the GunPay route. BZZZZTTT!!!

Absent the PayPal option, what would you suggest? Not everyone is comfortable using a credit/debit card over the internet or telephone, which is what we vastly prefer folks do. We hate PayPal too, you know.

You take checks and money orders?

To use paypal or not is your prerogative. I prefer my money not be used against me.

Not sure if fraud is your concern but if you don't like to use paypal and also don't want to enter your credit card/debit card info into the internet you could also buy one of those Visa gift cards from the grocery store. That way you buy the card and enter the info just like you would a regular credit card.

OK, dumb question, but why use lead bullets? Won't the lead seep into your skin?

Understood.

If I had the moral stamina to withstand a 40k/year impact upon my business, I would probably refuse to do business with them and just raise my prices to everyone else to compensate. As it is, I console myself with the knowledge that I'm using their process against their wishes. I know, I'm easy.

If you're checking is free then you're money is being used against you -- I pay a per deposit and per check fee so consumers can have free checking -- in return I pass that fee along to the consumer by marking up my prices.

Money Orders -- I have nothing on them i guess...haven't received one in a while -- sucks I can't remote deposit them -- I have to take those to the bank.

if your credit/debit cards has rewards then your money is being used against you. Companies end up paying for every "cool reward" that is given to the consumer....therefore prices reflect the 2%-5% rate that companies pay...Discover is full of themselves charging companies such high fees. AMEX is a rip off too...

Another way credit card companies rip the company is on chargebacks....if a consumer claims the charge was fraud then the company must proove that it wasn't...we've had address verification, CVC verification, and signature...but guess what... the customer never signed -- guess it was someone else...so I must pay those funds back. At least Paypal is more strict on just anyone claiming fraud.

Here's the deal in short -- Just like people throw in the slogan that "HK hates non-operators...." Credit card companies hate corporate america.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack.

Gunpal, then changed to Gpal right before the wheels fell off.
I've never heard of Gunpay, but just in case there is one, I didn't want to call them crooks so I backed-out my comments real quick.

Did you lose very much in that fiasco? (I can't believe they haven't been shut down yet)

No, we didn't lose anything. Our radar went up when they were unable to successfully depost our test test transactions for a few pennies each into our account. They gave us 6 weeks of "technical difficulties, we're working on it" before we learned what they really were and we ran away.

It probably was Gunpal, not Gunpay that I was thinking of. If it happened beyond yesterday, all details are fuzzy.

Since this got a little off topic. I would still like to know what is the problem with PayPal that people here don't like?
If you would like PM me with the info.

If enough seaps into your skin...or you eat enough of it... then you'll turn into Wolverine....

wives are more toxic than lead.... oh wait i can't say that on here...ha

Just read the fine print for paypal. You aren't supposed to use it for anything firearm related. I love Paypal for other purchases, but its kinda like funding the Brady campaign if you use paypal for our gun interests.

Even better reason to use PayPal for gun-related purchases.
Yes, it is fun, but the problem is that if you are a vendor and PayPal decides that you have accepted money via their funding mechanism for firearms-related purchasess, they will freeze your account for up to six months. I know a guy who had six thousand dollars - a major portion of his operating capital - frozen for six months while he fought them.

If you possibly can, please do not use PayPal.
