Old Timey Shotgun Loader

on another forum I say a shotgun loading press,it was table mounted han had a crank handle on one end/lever on the other end. Anyone know what I'm trying to say. There is one on gunbroker and I was told these make a great roll crimp on shot shells???? any one know how to use this stuff :cuss:

It was made for roll crimping waxed paper shotshells. It doesn't work on plastic shells, as far as I know.

If you have a bushel basket full of roll crimp paper hulls, you need to get one.

Otherwise, not so much!

Is this what it looks like? You have to click on the link to see the "closer" pictured.

If it is, then it's not a loader, just a roll crimper. Probably would NOT work on plastic shells, you couldn't turn it fast enough to creat the friction/heat needed to roll crimp plastic shells.

I was going to buy one, but I sold my 8 gauge.
