Picked up a new kahr cm9 yesterday to hopefully become my new everday carry pistol. I picked up a used cw9 a while back and liked it enough to watch for this model too. Got it for 419 at my general store. Be going to the range today to start running rounds thru it.

Keep us posted, so far there has been nothing but good said about the CM9. I'm bidding on and hoping to win my CM today....there are none to be found locally.

Back from the range today. Shot 200 rounds total today in the CM9. 150 124gr geogia arms canned heat. All ran just fine even holding very loosely trying to make it fail. Even holding with thumb and middle finger loose it cycled fine. Changed to 50 rounds of different HP ammo. Had some georgia arms older +p gold dot and new +p deep curl along with the last of my old PMC startfire 124gr and a couple mags of Hornady 115gr CD ammo. All ran just fine. Shoots to point of aim at ten yards and groups well. Not a big concern at this time , just running rounds.

Pistol has a nice 6.6lb trigger pull with the same smooth pull as in my cw9. Runs just fine with the mags top off and runs fine with the 7 and 8 shot mags I have for the cw9. Recoil is as light as any 9mm i have shot. I did have a heavy witness match. Stays down on target well . Only thing the trigger pull is long enough I will have to get use to a full release to reset the trigger for each shot. slower than glock or witness for sure but more like my pf-9, but all is subjective. Recoil is light enough that the longer mags did not aid in controling any more than the 6 shot mag. Only thing I did notice was the extra noise from the hotter +p loads. I don't typicaly shoot 147gr loads. After 200 rounds in 45 minutes I did tenderize some tissue in a new part of my thumb as it sets in my hand differently than the KT or glock.

May go to the out door range and run some more rounds thru tomorrow if weather allows. I did sell my pf-9 to get this and right now that was a good change. Hope to get 600 trouble free through it and start carry'n it.
Hows that for a first report.

Nice.... and yet another report to add to the "good pile" ;)

I lost my bid last night on the CM9 I was going for.....but sooner or later the right one at a fair price will turn up.

I guess Ihave allways been lucky to find a real good FFL to deal with. Mine now just happens to be only 3/10ths of a mile from my house. To close for my wallet and wife.hehe

MikePain, they are back on Buds sight for $419. I just got back from the range. This was my second outing with my new CM9. So far 200 rounds of WWB, 50 rounds of Fiochi FMJ, 20 rounds of Golden Sabers and 15 rounds of Magtech JHP with no problems at all. Also, the 7 and 8 round mags from my CW9 work in this little beauty.

Funny how the economy versions of the Kahrs often seem to have better eputations for reliability.

It's mostly because the CW series has only been out for a few years now, most of the problems with the polymer Kahrs that you hear about are older guns. Kahr has been making improvements on the guns over the years, so by the time the economy versions were released, most of the bugs were worked out of the designs. The economy versions are the same frame and internals as the regular models, the differences are mostly cosmetic and wouldn't make one any more reliable over the other.

I just picked my CM9 from Buds up yesterday, the trigger is better than I though it would be. Just checked and their up to $428 on Buds now.

My round count is at 375 now in 2 range trips and the CM9 runs just fine. I do tend to use the 7 and 8 shot mags for my cw9 way more at the range. Good little pistol.
