Glock single stack 9mm??

They have one. It is call Keltec PF-9.
Seriously I am glock fan and I am super happy wiht the PF9 for low profile with light clothes.

Agree, if they made a super flat one with 8-9rds. and same reliability that would be a top seller.

I wish they would. A glock 26 or 19 in single stack.

I agree 100%. I have a Glock-19, and IMO the height, and length are perfect, but I would be very interested in the same pistol, but in a thinner, single-stack design.

I was gonna say the Walther PPS is as close as you'll ever get to that becoming a reality. Most of the Walther is based off of GLOCK design, and its nice that it's offered in .40.

Glock made the G36 in a single stack .45 and in my opinion one of the finest pistols they ever made. I too would like to see a single stack 9mm to rival the Kahr P/CW9. Glock has a time proven product but sometimes you have to think outside the box and I think they would be good sellers on the U.S. market anyway.

Exactly.

CCW's are more popular than ever, and the key to CCW (for most) is Width so you can carry it comfortably otherwise most won't carry it.

with CCW's blowing up and LCP's, LC9's blowing up, Glock should step up.

The G26, G27, G33, and G39 just make the minimum number of point, under BATF scoring system, needed to make them legal to import. It's doubtful a Glock single stack could make the number of points need for importation. You'll note the Walther PPS is made by S&W and is not an import. A PF9 or smaller size gun does not have any chance of meeting the minimum points.

Another reason is Glock has a backlog of orders to fill as is. They could gear up the U.S. plant for producing the entire gun here. But so far they don't seem to have an interest in that. If you want a single stack Glock, buy a Kahr.

The Glock slide profile is too thick to take advantage of a single stack mag IMHO. Glock is all about economy of scale. I do not think they would sell enough pistols to justify the deviation.

The PPS is the one you want. It is functionally very much like a glock. Very accurate too, with minimal recoil in the 9mm variant. Google Hickok45s review -- after I watched it (I was looking for a Ruger LC9 initially) I went out and got one.

Glocks are "point starved" and barely make enough to get in-country.

I would definitely buy a single stack Glock 9mm as soon as it came out.

I took a look at a PPS the other day, and it's okay, but the trigger isn't the same (I prefer Glock's) and it isn't as ergonomically comfortable in my hand as the Glock 36 (for instance) is.

Glock should do it..it would give great competition to..

Kahr and others, but we should let them know of our wishes perhaps it might get them to consider it. Just a thought.

Actually the PPS is an import, it's made by Walther in Germany and imported by S&W.
