Greetings,
Glock. The name conjures many images and opionions in one's mind. Opinions and statements ranging from, "the gun is too dangerous without a safety," to "it's perfect the way it is," to "I hate the grips," to "why would you ever pervert the Glock by customization."
Allow me to interject my two cents, for whatever it's worth. I love the Glock; I've never seen it fail, not once, not in training and not in combat, yes, combat. Never have I worried about ammo quality, dirt, dust, rain, dropping it, never, ever! But the Glock has a problem, an image problem if you will-it's ugly. I may offend some with that remark, but sorry, I think it is.
GlockVector Industries...and no, I'm not an employee, owner, family member, nor anything else that puts me in close proximity of others that control that company, GlockVector is attempting to thrust this muscle gun out of the throws of that label by producing the first "production" custom series-marked as such. They've added functional cuts, serrations, stippling, Silicon Carbide grips, DLC coatings, ZEV after market parts, and much more to this weapon platform making them worthy of collection status. They've marked each one with "one of series", i.e., 1/100, 2/100, and so on. For those who say this gun is fine the way it is, consider this; if people thought this of the 1911, Les Baer and Bill Wilson's place wouldn't exist.
So do me a favor, when you go to Gvi's website, don't jawbone their product downard, rather, embrace their attempt to raise the bar of this "perfect" Pistol!
