I was at a local shop the other day and they had a used Glock 19 in excellent to LNIB condition. Clearly not a lot of round through the gun... they wanted $500+ tax and would not budge. I thought that was insane.... :what:

What are Glock 19s going for in your area?

I bought a used G19 for $325. With the Mil/LEO discount a new G19 is $365.

I thought LEO pricing was higher than that these days. IIRC somewhere around $465.

In my mind a Glock is a $400 used gun. Has the market changed?

A new Glock 19 in Eastern NC cost about $525, I would not pay $500+ for a used Glock (but it is a great gun).

there's a gun store close to home where law enforcement get new glocks for $425ish, and most of the law enforcement trade ins you can pick up for around$350 or so in fair condition. A new one for a regular Joe is around $500. i've seen 'em at gun shows in greensboro, nc for $625 new!! that's the day when 2 fools meet.........

LNIB used Gen 3 G 19`s about $400-450 in the Phila. area depending how many 15 rd. drop-free mags with it. There is more interest in the very excellent Gen. 3`s version since the Gen 4 came out ;)

Very hard to tell how many rounds through these guns without seeing the trigger bar. Only thing is if someone did a botched 25 cent polish/parts swap trigger job, and even then everything but the locking block, frame & barrel is dirt cheap and drop in.

There is a Glock Serial Number date listing at Glock Talk that will date the guns.

In my neck of the woods, it's hard to find a used one for less than $425 and most sit around $475.

In my area (Eastern Washington/North Idaho) used gen 3 model 19 Glocks can easily be had for $400.00, a little less from time to time.

$475 G26 OKC last week, I had paid $500 for it a month prior and shot a few boxes thru, cheaper than renting. Last one I bought was 425 with an extra mag.

Leo pricing for new $396
FFL cost $440
New retail $500ish
Used$400
If I was trying to sell one, people would be offering me about $375. If I wanted to buy one, I wouldn't be able to strike a deal for under $425 and I'd have to do the driving or pay the shipping. :banghead:

I bought a LNIB- only one box ammo through it..

at a gunshow this past weekend for $435.00. With box papers and warrenty card etc. This was the gen3 gun from a dealer too. I came home to my farm range and put 3 boxes of ammo through it and am very pleased with this Glock.

They are available for $500 new in Oklahoma.

Used? $450 in VG to LNIB condition, or $400 if you really snag a deal. Less (though not much less) if condition and wear are worse. Sometimes one will privately (read: no tax) sell one with only one or two mags down the pipe for $500, which really isn't a bad deal all things considered.

It amazes me how much some LGS try to charge for things. Most of the time they are the same places that complain about Buds and transfer.

So I was not crazy in my thinking that a LNIB Glock 19 is a $400 gun.

$450 is the most I'd pay for one with fixed plastic sights, and it'd better be in excellent condition for that price. Now obviously 10/45 and longslide models are worth more, I could see paying $530 for an excellent condition used G35.

Locally prices are obviously higher, I saw one shop trying to sell the most beat up Glock I've ever seen in my life, a G27, for $450.

Rella,
I agree it's a $400-450 dollar gun. I once purchased a LNIB 26 for with Trijicons and paid $500 for it, but again that's the extra for the night sights. I'd still own it but I had a hankering for a Colt ;) and needed this to help finance it. You know how that goes...

A different LGS had a used but LNIB, I mean 100%, OD green Glock 27 with factory case and paperwork and 3 magazines. $399 which was lower than most private sellers would go. I think they know they had to undercut private parties a bit since they are forced to collect 8.5% sales tax on it.

Unfortunately is sold quicker than I could get my wallet out of my back pocket!

Any new G19 for less than $500 is not going to be there very long. I'd say used is usually around $425-450.

All the LGS's in my area are selling new Gen3 Glocks for $499, and Gen4 for $549. Used Gen3's are always listed for $450, but can be negotiated for about $400-$425 depending on condition. Of course, night sights and any upgrades would up the value of both of those.

There is no set "LE/MIL" pricing on GLOCKs.

They have a $100 discount through official dealers, so whatever that dealer sets their prices at, take off $100. At my local dealer of choice, it was $520 before $100 discount.
