Need your guidance on seating depth

I need some guidance on seating depth. I measured my 7mm Mag using an OAL guage and I got 2.76 inches as the point where the lands meet the ogive.

My plan is to try a few different setback distances to see which is the most accurate.

I began by seating my bullets to 2.754. I loaded 30 rounds with this seating depth using 3 different charges of H1000.

I'm going to load another batch and my initial thought was to seat the next group to 2.75. This is just an arbitrary number though...so I thought I might get some THR wisdom on this matter.

I'm not experienced enough to know if changing from 2.754 to 2.75 would make a material difference or not.

What are your thoughts? At what depth should I seat batch number 2 to get the best information out of my next shooting session.

Never mind...I ran out of time...went with 2.75.

Interestingly the last factory box I bought was 2.59...waaaayyy shorter than the 2.76 measured with the oal gauge. I know they have to make them to fit a wide variety of guns but I was still surprised by the difference.
