I know how you feel about SS grips and M66 revolvers.

Nice 66 Denali. Have you shot it?
I have, it came off the line in 2005 and was shipped off to Australia, it returned virtually unused with very little evidence of even having been to the range...I have only fired .38 spls through it, likely thats all I ever will fire through it...

Curiously those south Australian cop's disabled it's "ahh" lock, apparently they trust such politically correct gizmos even less then we do! I must add that I consider this particular S&W K-frame a real prize, virulently anti-gun Australian's are wailing & knashing their teeth over these little used 66's being returned to America for sale back to "We The People"...Seriously, they wanted to melt them down, they are deeply distraught over this turn of events...Oh well, tough luck mates...

This virulently pro-gun Australian is wailing and gnashing his teeth over those little 66s being being returned to America when they should have been sold to Me the person! :p I guess you guys getting them is the second best option. I would be deeply distraught if they were melted down.
Anyhoo, I just put a hold on a 98% Model 28 that dates to 1968 and has a level of polish as good as a Model 27. Will post pics when I finally get it. It came from South Africa where they are making legal handgun possession much harder. A fair few nice pieces coming OZs way as a result.

Please understand that it's the foaming at the mouth, raging socialist, UN boot-licking, anti-gun Aussie's that I was, and am, thrilled to death to be pissing off...:)

Not a M66 but this Python wears smooth Eagle Secret Service in Rosewood. Fantastic grips for CC.

Thanks-I have many who would like to buy it as I have the box and all papers. Still unfired but am getting an itchy trigger finger.
