What guns are you drooling over right now?

I want a few different uppers for my AR. I want to build an "urban sniper" rifle in either 6.8 SPC or 6.5 Grendel. And I am dying for Rock River to finally start making the .40 AR. I'm going to get one and SBR it when they do. I emailed them a week or so ago and they said they're still trying to work out an issue with the magazines..... And lately I've been looking hard at the Kel Tec RFB and one of those "pistol" versions of the Russian PPS 43 subguns they're importing now in 7.62x25. If I get one of those I'd want to SBR it also. Just because.

There is a Colt Python Elite, 4 inch, nickle plated at my local gun shop that I really want. I've wanted a Python since I first fired one in 1972, but I still can't justify the money they want. This one is just under $1600, which seems to be a little on the cheap side these days, but there are so many other things I can do with that money.

I'm drooling over my grandfather's Remington 512. My grandmother was ready to send it my way until another family member threw a fit over it. It's funny how people suddenly become gun folks after never showing interest...

I want a Taurus Thunderbolt in .357, but can't seem to find one to save my life.
Mossberg 12ga Persuader, 8-shot, 20"
S&W 686+ Pro, 7-shot model,
I still want a 6" Taurus .22 revolver
Beretta/Taurus 92, a cheap range gun for friends to beat up
CZ75, pre-ban or post-ban LEO model, another cheap range gun for friends

Kel-Tec KSG

I've been getting interested in the KSG more recently, wondering the same about it's release. I doubt the ATF is happy about it's existence already. I can't wait to get a change to shoot one, probably the only Kel-Tec I am remotely interested in.

Still drooling over the Ruger GP 161 (blued) I just picked up!

Others I eventually hope to get:
Remington 308
Ruger mini 14 Tactical
Any 12 gauge shotgun
Glock (not sure which one yet....)

I want a "black gun" but don't want to spend the money they want for a decent model so I have been looking into just buying the components and assembling one myself. I have been researching which components need to be top quality for functionality and reliability and which are not as critical.

My dream version is a flat top with a fluted 20" varmint barrel and free floating fore-section...not sure if I want ability for rails on the fore-grip. Anyway, that's what I have been thinking about every waking moment.

I had just about decided to pick up a 6 1/2 inch S&W 629 as my next gun, when I saw a S&W 325NG at my local shop for an amazing clearance price (evidently they have a several in stock and they were not moving). I actually want the 629 more than the 325, but the price is just so good, I'm having a hard time passing it up.

I'm drooling over a Ruger Black Hawk in .357 with the 4 5/8" (or whatever) barrel to go with my new Rossi 92 stainless trapper in .357.

Also on my drool list is a new Vaquero in .357, a Mossberg 590A1 with extended tube, and a Marlin either in 30-30 or a .450 Guide Gun.

I really really want a Mk12 SPR going to build one, but am going to have to wait till at least the spring to start amassing parts.

Mitchell's PPS50/22 Rimfire Rifle

1911-22-A1-MID-051802-m.jpg

Browning 1911-22 A1

They each cost around $600, which is more than Im willing to blow on a gun at this point, but I bet they're a lot of fun.

The Mossberg Chainsaw. Even though it is completely not practical, and I'd most likely never shoot it...there is just something about a pistol gripped shotgun with a chainsaw handle that makes me think I need a new zombie gun.

Im looking at a model 64 smith that are tradeins from brinks these things were all converted to dao by smith and the actions are real sweet. a ruger blackhawk 357/9mm would be nice also.
