Where do you shoot (type of range)?

I shoot at a small outdoor range. We have a winter .22 league coming up and I also do a pistol league.in the spring/Sumner as well. All for $35/yr

Outdoor gun club mostly (rifle to 200y and pistol bays with dirt berms).

Shotgun sports club (skeet, trap and sporting)

Desert for long range rifle (to 1560 yards, we provide everything from targets to portable shade and clean up when we're done).

3 different facilities, all within 10 min of my house.

I'm lucky enough to live on 40 acres of land surrounded by thousands of acres of state land so ive always shot on my land. This year is the first year i actually joined a gun club

Outdoor private club.

Private gun club, set up outdoors. 2 shotgun fields w/ skeet, trap fields, rifle range with bays & shelter with distance out to 600 yards, multiple handgun 'ranges' will full competition course/range for IDPA/SCSA/defensive classes, etc. range officers, limited membership, electricity, bathrooms and all.

It's a nice place.

Though recently I did go to a shotgun sportsman club. Been awhile, but I also have gone to a outdoor cowboy shooting range to shoot rim-fire (modern) competition, and another outdoor range to shoot modern and tactical rim-fire competitions.

We have an outdoor 100 yard+ range with covered firing line and utility shed.
I also belong to the Rockingham Co. Gun Club.with 80+ acres of different types of ranges.

I also keep a portable PVC paper/cardboard target holder and other range stuff in my SUV and can be setup to shoot anywhere it is safe in a matter of minutes.

When we win the lottery I will post pictures of my new state of the art indoor range.

Well maintained, well constructed outdoor range, 5 shooting bays, (80 yd, 300 yad, 100 yard and two 30 yard pistol bays), city maintained daily, and totally free.

An unsupervised outdoor range with rifle/pistol, clay pigeon traps, archery targets, and archery 3D targets. All for $50 a year ($25 with a college ID.)

If it's too cold and I think I need to shoot it's $7.00 per half hour or $150 a year at the indoor pistol range at the LGS.

Currently I only shoot shotguns and handguns, which can all be shot at my local indoor pistol range. They charge either a per-visit fee or a membership fee. I do eventually want a rifle, but I may buy some land and set up a private range before I get one. I'd rather have fun when I'm shooting, and be able to go downrange at will, without making everyone else stop (and without having to stop so others can go downrange). That's why I like the pistol range - I can bring the target to me at will.

Are you shooting your Phantom here? I just ordered some parts from CGW for mine. I really enjoy mine, more accurate than my 4" bbl Springer XD9 which cost $125 more than my CZ. Just trying to decide on tritium or FO dots for it.

Private club, with indoor and outdoor ranges; no formal range officers except during a scheduled event.

Lucky enough to have a private range.

I have:

• an indoor range 4 miles from my home – 25 yards .22LR only:
• an outdoor range 8 miles away – 25 and 50 yards mainly for .22LR, black powder rifles and pistols and most cartridge calibres so long as the rounds are home loads and down-loaded to reduce the noise due to residents living nearby:
• an outdoor range 20 miles away – 100 and 200 yards catering for all calibres and disciplines;
• an outdoor range 100 miles away – 100 to 1000 yards catering for all calibres and disciplines;

That’s it.

I just go outside. I can shoot almost as far as I want. I don't like ranges too much. Too many people and you can't shoot on your terms.

I own enough land so i can shoot on my own range. I have a measured out range set up for my own use.

I belong to a private "campground" that has a range. You have to join the "sprotsman's club" to use it, but I have never seen anyone else there when I was using it. I know a few others do, but I always have the place to myself.
