Lee Invention Factory Case Trimmer

I thought I had read somewhere that it would be sometime this year ... only time will tell. I also like the bullet puller ... right now I'm using a Hornady, but I'm always up for something new ... at least to try.:D

Neat!

I really like the bullet puller. Looks much better than my plastic hammer.

I like the case trimmer & it looks pretty quick. But with that orientation it's going to dump all its shavings into & around the case. If it's doing the chamfer & deburr operations at the same time, it might be worth dealing with the mess it makes on the press & inverting & flicking each case to get the shavings out.

The clamps to hold the press? Not impressed & would rather stick to C- or squeeze clamps. Repeatedly screwing in & out of wood like that is going to tear up the table top. Plus traditional clamps are quicker.

Why do I have a feeling that in order to use these tools you'll need to separately purchase a set of Lee "press mounted trimmer shell holders" and a set of Lee "bullet puller shell holders" - they'll both be just a little different than the current press, trimmer, and hand primer holders...

The integrated FCD looks interesting.

I can't see the vid, but if it's the push through bullet puller i saw in an eariler Lee vid, Bonanza designed/made/sold that bullet puller MANY years ago. Lee is just copying an old design.

it actually pulls the bullet on the down stroke. the bullet popping out the top is the bullet from the previous round being pushed out of the bullet puller by the next bullet. it's like a chinese finger trap for bullets. only grips going one way.

by "down stroke" i mean when the ram is going down. the press handle would be going up. realized it sounded confusing.

That video was posted 16 months ago, wonder what is taking so long to release the products.

I like the trimmer, but I'm not too thrilled about where the brass shavings are gonna wind up.

The puller doesn't seem very different from the RCBS collet-type I already have except it appears to be spring loaded, requiring no manual gripping step. In the video the neck tension must have been moderate, as the up-stroke of the handle didn't seem to take much effort. Still, pretty sweet.

Not sure what the holdup is, and I too, am concerned about the brass trimmings.
Seems like it might be messy unless you have a small plastic drape setup.

I have a couple cans of compressed air and a couple sizes of paint brushes to keep powder out of my progressive, knock away brass chips, etc. Besides, I always turn my cases when I inspect them and give them a flick of a finger to ensure all of the media is removed. Doesn't look to be much of a problem, especially compared to my current method of LEE zip trim.:banghead:

The screws that tighten the clamps screw into a metal base plate that in turn is bolted to the bench top. It's actually pretty slick and less bulky than C clamps. I still use C clamps for my presses that don't have the bases for Lee's system and I like Lee's system better.

Lee Bullet Puller

I wished Lee would hurry up & market that bullet puller i am gonna get 2 of them one for a back up NO MORE HAMMERING THEM OUT WHOO!!!!!!!!

You've got to love American ingenuity. Second to none. Been a Lee Fan for ages.
Hardly wait for the products to hit the market. Bravo Mr Lee !!!!!

That cutter looks awesome. I have to get one when they hit the market. Richard Lee says in the video that it cuts, deburs, and chamfers, all-in-one. Good stuff.

there are already several alternatives to inertia (hammer) bullet pullers
