From New Jersey: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/03/shooting_at_woodbridge_center.html

I suppose it's fortunate that the cops had already been called. Of course if John "Concealed Carry" Citizen had been involved you just know we'd have been hearing how they just "made it worse" and how they should have just let the criminal have/do what he wanted.

Then again, there really isn't any concealed carry in NJ now is there. :barf:

You mean, that guy didn't have a gun, but he was still a criminal, and put someone's life in immediate danger? I thought no guns meant perfect safety.

Which gun control advocacy group or member said no guns meant perfect safety?

Also, i have read and seen numerous news stories about citizens with concealed carry firearms defending themselves with no comments about them making the situation. In fact, the vast majority have been unbiased.

Just sarcasm JustinJ, though I have met individuals who think this way.

I don't know what you mean by your second statement.

Which gun control advocacy group or member said no guns meant perfect safety?
Maybe none. More that a society that wounds and kills its members using knifes and bludgeons is a more moral and civilized society compared to one that kills its members with firearms.

;)

Wonder if that's where Gecko45 works...?

Bet the ninjas resolved the situation, cops are just taking credit.

With about 220 stores and 1.5 million square feet of space, Woodbridge Center is the third-largest shopping mall in New Jersey, behind only Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus and Freehold Raceway Mall. The mall is located just off Route 1, in the shadows of the Garden State Parkway.

The wing where the shooting happened includes major brands such as Hollister Co. apparel, f.y.e. entertainment and the family-oriented Disney Store.

Investigators from the Woodbridge Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's

Sound more like an advertisement for the mall than a news report.
