I have a Smith and Wesson 9VE pistol, almost new. It has less than 100 rounds through it. The barrel looks like it has small drops or beads inside the barrel. It looks almost like the splash one gets when welding, little droplets. I'm not sure if it is a manfacturing defect or what. I haven't been able to wash them away. And its mostly in the last inch of the barrel. Ideas?

Have you tried a quality solvent like hoppes #9. I often have lots of debris in my barrels that look like little grains of sand. I believe it is unburnt powder that sticks to the metal as it cools.
