Perhaps, if she is able and/or willing to wear a blazer or other jacket with a skirt, a gun could be carried belt- or shoulder-holstered under that. That would cover at least some situations.

My wife dresses the same way, when we got our CCH permits, she was using a KelTec P32 carried in a bellyband holster. She'd wear the bellyband over a T shirt ( shell?) and cover it with a blouse or jacket.

I also wear dresses and skirts almost all the time and don't even own a pair of pants that has the beltloops for a gun belt.

I use a bellyband.

My preference is to position the gun under my strong-side arm as if in a vertical shoulder holster. Sometimes though I position it in front under my breasts so that I could draw through the neckline.

In hot weather though I have to resort to a fanny pack since I work in a factory that has no AC.

Since women's camisoles are often more ornamental than functional, I find that a man's "A-Shirt" works very well to protect my skin from the bellyband without adding any bulk under my clothing.

I can totally sympathize - I started carrying daily in March when I received my permit. I prefer dresses and skirts but do wear pants/shorts. I was planning on getting a chickholster, but like you found they are out of business. I've considered a belly band but worry it will be to hot for me to put up with (I live in FL)

Most of the time I use a flashbang holster. Works great with a skirt - trickier with a dress. If I'm wearing a dress that's around knee length I still use the flashbang, I've practiced with it and can reach up and get it in a shorter to mid length dress without exposing anything. For now I've stopped wearing a long dress unless I'm going somewhere I'm not legally allowed to carry anyway - like the kids' school. It's been frustrating though not to wear my long dresses.The flash bang did take me several days and google searches to get it to fit just right and I was very frustrated until then. For me it's amazingly comfortable which really surprised me (I'm not well endowed but it's hidden very well). My biggest gripe is its hot and sweaty - I'm going to line the back with moleskin or something.

If I'm wearing a skirt with a belt (or when I wear pants/shorts) I use a Crossbreed mini tuck.

I came across a blog today (Packing Pretty) by a woman who tried and liked UnderTech Compression shorts to wear under a dress. I thought it brilliant and plan to order one.
