I am dieing to get a PMR 30, but do not want to pay double of retail price to get one. My local dealer has had 4 on order for months and I am first on the list to get one when he gets his in. But he told me not to hold my breath, his distributor is barely getting any in.

There are quite a few on gunbroker, but for almost double of what the MSRP is on the gun. Has anyone heard any rumors of when production might pick up.

Or if you have any hot leads feel free to PM me, dont share the lead outloud. LOL

Thanks!

I would imagine after the RFB, but before the KSG. Noticing a trend here:p, I am just hating because I live in Cali and Kel-Tec refuses to pay the extortion money to get their pistols on the approved list:banghead:. Sigh... I guess I cannot blame them.:(

A friend called me today about his PMR 30. Knowing him, he did not pay a premium price for it. But it had a notably rough barrel, which KelTec replaced with their usual policy of guns well engineered, cheaply made, fully guaranteed.

Well, I paid $329 for mine last June, got my sister's for the same price in Nov. (LGS). Had the assembly pin break in mine around 1,200 rounds, but KT had 2 new pins in my hands within 3 days. Gotta love their CS, and it's just a super fun pistol.

I think they only want to sell guns inside the free states.

Seeing as they can't make anything fast enough to satisfy demand for the 49 other states I'd say they don't really need in on California markets.
Yeah between the high demand and the problems with the PMR 30 I don't see how they'll ever catch up.

My PMR has been running just great, over 2,000 rnds through it. I rarely have a FTFeed even with CCI
It's hard to believe that I bought it nearly a year ago for $378. Anymore $400 is about the average price .. that is it if you can find one. A friend of mine is #5 on a list and the LGS hasn't had any shipped since right after Christmas.

The barrel issue has been resolved. I haven't heard of any other issues then that. I suspect some don't load the mags correctly and will load to capacity which will cause FTFs. Really have to break the mags in and the problem with that goes away. My PMR hated Winchester, but ate Hornady and CCI

A friend picked hers up for just over $300 when they first shipped. I just saw one sell on a local site for $550 and he had another reply wanting it if the deal fell through!

They are fun to shoot. I prefer my Grendel P30 except for parts availability/cost.

They were created by the same guy anyways with extremely similar designs.

I honestly think that Kelgren is one of the most influential and original designers in history. Alot will probably disagree but when you look into all the stuff he's designed and accomplished, it really is impressive.

I have had my eye out for a Grendel P30 also with the same luck. Looks like everyone that bought one has kept it close.

Kel-Tec can't even produce enough of their bread-n-butter guns.....like a HC P32.
It's a strange business model they run with......

I've read that they're the third largest handgun producer in the US. My best guess is that their products have gotten more popular than they expected and they can't keep up with the demand.

I love KT pistols and think they're great value for the money.
