that's a pretty good price, I see that and $399 , there is a dealer on castboolits that would be worth checking out , parrot1969

ManVentureOutpost.com Theyre a couple cents more, but not in stock. I ordered mine from them a little over a year ago and they were excellent to deal with. It might be worth comparing shipping costs between the sites to see which is cheaper, as both sites are reputable.

Sounds good. I think I talked myself into it due to the 500 bullet rebate. Wish they had an option for .223/5.56 but 9mm will do.

Thanks 777, I guess I will have to factor in shipping when I decide to make the purchase.

If you do end up buying it, have whomever you get it shipped to, cut out the UPC and fill out the rebate for the 500 free bullets. The offer usually expires at the end of the calendar year, but has been renewed every year. You don't want to miss out on ~$50-$100 worth of bullets.

I have not seen any lower price on the Hornady for sometime now. As mentioned above, there are several other places selling them for around $399 and might have a deal on shipping. However, the final price wont be but a few dollars different one way or the other. I'm sure prices next year will go up as they have in prior years.

The .223/5.56 bullets are the first ones listed on the redemption form under "Select your FREE bullets":

Item 2266 22 CAL .224 55 GR SP W/C

Hornady LNL AP

I recently bought the Hornady Ammo Plant from MidSouth Shooters Supply for $100 less than I could find it anywhere else. They have great prices and service is excellent.

Good to know GPjoe. My error on that one.

Time to start building a "to buy" list for the setup.

I am in the process of pricing the LnL AP. From three sources there is only a very few dollars difference
However, yesterday, Natchez was the only one that had everything (shell plates) in stock.
Without the shellplates the press will do you no good.
If you have to pay shipping on the backordered items, that is going to make your source the most expensive.

I hate to be "that guy", but if you ever plan on getting a case feeder, seriously consider the Dillon XL650 also.

I own both an LNL and a 650, and I actively avoid loading on the LNL since buying the 650 a year ago.

Hey Mizer

I understand and really want to help ... so if you want to get rid of that crappy old LNL AP I'll take it off your hands. :O)

Ask for the 45ACP bullets, then swap them for 600 9mm.

Thank you for your service to our country.

Agreed. The 650 was designed and intended to be used with a case feeder. Whereas the feeder on the LNL was an afterthought.
