What are some good places to order 45acp in a sealed can? I don't care whether it is steel or brass case. My local Cabelas used to have 450rd sealed cans of Herter's but they don't seem to carry it in 45 anymore just 9mm. Thanks in advance

Tula and Wolf ammo are both dirty ammo. Be prepared to clean the heck outa your gun after a few mags. I would invest in better ammo, and properly seal it my self.

Yes. Seal it yourself. Plent of ways to do that. Military ammo cans were designed to store ammo...

Alternative solution: $4.40, give or take, at Home Depot. Holds almost exactly the same volume as a .30 ammo can. Note: This is for longer term storage, not ammo you get in and out of.

Yeah I'm looking to put a case or two away for the long term. I don't reload myself but I help a friend near me reload. Someday when I have more time I'll start reloading.

Personally I would go to Ammoman and buy 1000 rounds sealed in plastic. It protects the ammo quite well especially considering the ammo they're selling is nickel plated Speer Gold Dot right now. It's $600 for 1000 rounds but you're talking the difference between one of the best defensive rounds available and one of the worst. If you're just shooting it up I don't see the reason for the tins but I'm sure you have your reasons. I'm just saying if I was going to be storing ammo it would be ammo that's good SD ammo and Gold Dot certainly is that.
