What is the last gun that you bought?

Gen 3 Glock 23 earlier this year, picked up 5 extra regular capacity mags for it, too. Shoots great, I have no idea why 8 didn't get one of them earlier.

It started out as a used Ruger MKii, but now it looks more like a longer version of the Amphibian. It sounds like my air pistol when I use CCI std vel ammo. $520 including the pistol and $200 tax.

6mmBR rifle, with Bushnell Elite 6-24 x 40 scope. Custom built by a smith whose name I don't know, but he did a great job with this rifle.

Savage at birth, the rest is custom. Single shot, adjustable trigger, barrel is 1" in diameter at the muzzle. 20 MOA scope mount, Shoots like a dream.

Love the thread, lots of great pics and information on such a wide-diversity of guns. Yet I might have to unsubscribe as my seemingly abysmal discipline feels as though it's on the verge of collapse . Maybe I could justify an immediate purchase as an 'Welcome Fall Gun, a pre-election "necessity”, an early Christmas Gift, my last gun for a while’ etc..

Seriously though, enjoying the thread :).

I picked up a Rossi Rio Grande 45-70 while shopping for a Marlin but the two I looked at where pretty rough compared to the RG. I'm glad I did too considering the RG is the cleanest machined gun I've owned regardless of maker and smooth as silk. Fit and finish was also perfect while the Marlins one stainless and one blue both had thin spots in the blued finish or marks in the stainless and nether the wood fit well. I also got the Rossi for just about half the price of either of the Marlins. I guess it is true what I heard has happened since Remington has taken over Marlin. I posted a picture here at http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=645818&page=2 post #28. Not a great picture but then I'm also not a good photographer either. Oh and the scope is a Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn 1.5-4.5x32mm mounted on Weaver Quad mount medium mounts.

Ruger, 22 single action convertible, 6.5 in brl, made mid 80s. Blued with rosewood grips.
Still in original box, looks brand new. Jeez I have wanted one of these for years but it seems there was always a good deal on something else.

First gun= H&R 12 gauge break over.
Last gun= Ruger SR1911 ,"like a glove"

Got my first AR yesterday after 20 some-odd years of shooting. I've fired plenty , but never owned one. I'm a pistol guy generally, and into AK pattern rifles if any rifles at all.
The right time came up though , so now I've joined the AR club too.

Its a Troy Defense 5.56 Carbine.

Bought a 870 super mag a few months back, but I've been working on this beautiful rifle for the past 6 months. I think she's coming together nicley

NIB 547 3 inch #16D0XXX product code 5470013021
In the box with everything plus a speed loader.
I was not looking at the time and even forgot I had investigated the 9MM in the past.
Now the problem comes into play.
To shoot or not to shoot that is the question?
I think it will be next to my unfired Python in the safe.
I have a 66 2 1/2" which is going to serve the shooting urge just fine and if not then a 686 four inch.
So I reckon it will be like money in the bank. Well better really.

The latest gun I have bought is a Taurus PT-1911 AR chambered in .38 Super.
Great gun so far.

Next one is a Glock G29 10mm

Not a complete gun, but I just placed an order today for a Stag 3G upper receiver. Wait time is 6-8 weeks.... For now the only picture that I have is from Stag
