Century tech support responded to my question today and claimed that it their bore diameter should be .311.
I thought it interesting they used the "should" word. It was an e-mail since they couldn't tell me right away on the phone and suggested I submit a tech support query online. Didn't bother asking about hammer forging since chances are they aren't (doesn't concern me).sounds like century tech support is not really sure by using the word "should". did they inform you by phone or email? did you ask them also if their barrels are hammer forged also?
CZH2003 means its made by Hermex(distant succesor to Zbrojovka Praga), first company that made semiauto vz.58 for Czech.
Generaly just surplus rifle with no changes besides cripled trigger mechanism. Thats why it costs about $250.
Yet another spring cover rail: http://kinggun.jansladky.cz/Moderni...alovy-s-integrovanym-railem-pro-Sa-vz-58.html , this time conciderably cheaper. And I have to admit I like the sand "camo" on this vz.
