I bought this Lee Hand Press kit over a year ago with a Cabela's gift card that my daughter gave me. Thought it might come in handy at some time. I set it on the shelf and promptly forgot about it.

I found it a couple of days ago. It was 108° in the garage and I wanted to load up some 45 Colt. Thought it might be nice to do a little work in the air conditioning sitting down :) . Never did that before in my 40 yrs of handloading.

Sized and expanded a batch of 50 with this little tool and it worked great! Then used the RCBS hand priming tool to prime them.

All that was left to do outside was throw the powder and seat/crimp the bullets. No problem.

I have three Dillons and a Rockchucker. This hand press won't replace any of them but it is pretty handy and made the process a little more enjoyable.

Did another batch tonight. My back and feet could get used to this :) .

I use my Lee Hand Press to load entire cartridges in the comfort of my living room. I use it to resize, flare, prime, seat and crimp. I use the Lee Dipper and funnel and weigh every charge for rifle ammo. In the time it takes to watch a couple of episodes of Modern Marvels I have 50 rounds of match grade rifle ammo.

The only 'press' I have ever owned is a 20+ year old Lee hand press...

I load from .38 S&W to .30-06 with it...

I use it for everything, including working up loads at the bench at the range...

Yep a buddy and I took his new to him 30-06 to the range a couple weeks ago and loaded up some ammo to get him some accuracy with it. Loading 5 rounds at a time and shooting them then repeating with a different load/seating length we spent the afternoon doing it. I had no problems with doing it either. I would highly recommend this activity on a nice late summer day.:)

Love my hand press. I've had 3 knee surgeries now, and it has relieved alot of boredom for me when stuck on the couch. Still doesn't replace my single stage in the man-cave.

I'm just getting started at replacing and its what i use, also keeps my friends entertained, guess there ain't many 20yo trying to learn handloading

I much prefer the little Lee Reloading Press, mounted on a 2x4 and C-clamped to a working surface, over trying to wrestle a hand press.

Yep. Lost my hand press awhile ago. Used to use it to decap BPCR cartridges at the range before dropping them in the bottle with the Dawn/water mixture to keep them from getting too nasty.
