Saw some TOADS today while scouting!!

Please excuse the poor picture quality I took these with a cheap little digital and then blew them up on my computer.
I did little preseason scouting this morning. And ran into these guys along the way. They are all on private land which I cannot hunt. BUT when you see a mule deer this size you gotta stop and have a look. This old boy ( the one on the lower right) is going to score over 200" gross and is a spectacular mule deer anywhere in the world that mule deer live. The good news is these genetics are in my hunting area.
This mule deer is serious TOAD!

Mega Forky! This has to be one of the biggest fork horned mule deer I've ever seen in my life. He'd a be a great trophy cull deer.

Nice looking racks. Would be in the woods right now if those were around NC. Dropped one monster buck but he only had seven points. Bud has a non-typical mounted with 27 points. Have never taken what I consider a "trophy" rack-guess that is what keeps my "lookin 'n hopin".

It's a slang term used to describe a big critter. I've heard it used in many parts of the country but I'm guessing it must be a western colloquial thing. Sorry for the confusion.

But hey since we're here lets make something up that fits for TOAD...

I figured it was something like that. I had not heard it. What we call them won't make it through editing.:)
 
I thought you meant those toads that people lick and get high from. Glad to see the Mule deer instead.
