S&W M&P Shield 9mm, on my hip while I sit on the couch, loaded with 124gr Remington Golden Sabres standard pressure JHP.

1911 loaded with 230-grain ball.

The one nearest me at the moment is on my wife's nightstand, a Taurus 82 .38 Special loaded with 125 grain bullets that I cast myself.

Ruger Police Service Six loaded with Personal Defense .38's and a Glock 17 with 147gr XTP's.

Mossberg 500a with Winchester 00 Buck.

XD-40 loaded with 165 grain Remington Golden Sabers & spare mag. Old Ruger P94 in .40 is also close by.

Currently at home, so it's my S&W 1076 10mm(also my backup sidearm for hunting) loaded hot, within arm's length. Penetration is handled by knowing what's around me.

Springfield 1911 loaded with 230gr Hydro-Shocks. About four inches below my right elbow as I'm typing. Soon to be in a drawer. I'm going to bed.

I am halfway between a Pardner Protector 12 ga (Chinese 870 clone built like a tank) loaded with 5 rounds low recoil 00 buck and a S&W model 10-11 4" bull barrel loaded with my own rolled 125 gr semi jacketed hp's.

I'm at work now, so it's a toss-up between the three guns I have on me, and the shotgun in the rack that my elbow keeps hitting.

S&W 642 on the ankle (125gr Speer Gold Dots)
M&P9 Compact on the body armor (147gr Speer Gold Dots)
Cruiser ready Remington 870 smacking my elbow (Winchester Segmenting slugs)

Roaster weiner (dogs)! Now why haven't I thought of that yet?

At the time the thread was started, my nearest gun was on my belt, and I was seated at home. The gun was a Kel-Tec PF9.
Now, as I post this, I'm at my no-carry place of employment. My nearest gun is outside in the parking lot, and is a Kel-Tec P32 (it's pocket-carried on my way to and from work.)
