What's the consensus on this AR? Palmetto State Armory

I agree on the quality for the dollar. I paid $750 for mine new. If this is a new gun then that price is reasonable all things considered.

Read the listing carefully. It's not a Palmetto State Armory lower, but rather a "Palmetto State Armory Premium Classic Lower Build Kit" and a "Surplus Ammo and Arms Stripped Lower Receiver"... which run about $70. The upper is a complete Palmetto State Armory assembly.

That listing makes no sense. Is a Bushmaster or a Windham Weaponry? If it's a current Bushmaster... pass. If it's a WW, it looks like a "MPC" with the handle removed. I got no idea what a "WW-15" is, unless it's an earlier model.
There are Walmarts selling brand new WW rifles for $800 (or rather were, last week)... so that deal is no deal either.

From what I have found the WW-15 is a model number. Every model has that.

I sent the link to Matt @ WW and from he could see, he verified that is was in fact a complete WW AR15.

Now finding out the exact model, I need the serial number and from there I can find out the age. But Matt said that rifle is just a year old, if not new but he needed the SN for sure.

The PSA rifle is about $100 to much. Would not pay that much for an untested WW rifle. Wait till next friday and check the PSA site.

Oh yeah. If the new ones are coming from PSA for $719, I wouldn't expect to sell a used one (REGARDLESS OF CONDITION) for more than $550-600. They guy is stuck with it, trying to break even. You don't break even when you sell used guns.

not to mention that the buyer would have to assemble the one the seller in the OP is selling. Depending on how well stocked a person is, they may have to spend a few dollars on tools as well.

Depends on what your purpose of use is for this rifle. If it's just to plink and range toy it'll be ok. If you want to use it for competition or will put some serious rounds down range then spend a a little more and get something that will be more suitable. IMO.

If my recent experience is any indicator, you might wait over a month for PSA to ship it to you, but even so I don't think it is worth paying $100 extra just to have something immediately.

That isn't the PSA model I'd want anyway... carbine length gas isn't the best on a 16" barrel. Mid-length gas would be greatly preferred. THe M-4 profile barrel is really pointless too, and just has extra weight on the muzzle end. Light or pencil profile would be preferred.

That looks like a kit the seller put together for cheap. Surplus arms lower= 70$, PSA lower parts kit= 40$ on sale, PSA M4 Upper=309$, Cheap stock and buffer tube kit=50$. Plus or minus around 30$.

PJ, thats a decent deal especially if you consider you won't have to wait for PSA's long wait times.

If you are buying in person I'd ask for $700 and see if the seller bites. Otherwise, $740 OTD is a decent buy IMO.
