Only my SKS has a wood stock, and that is only because I decided I actually like the original stock better than the synthetic one I bought years ago. So my percentage is the inverse: 6/7, or 86%.

0/14 - the two wood ones are stainless.

About 1/2. I no longer own a wood stocked centerfire bolt rifle, but all my levers are walnut/ blue. I'm about 50/50 on 22's and shotguns as well.

83% are stainless and/or synthetic.

I admire wood stocked guns if the wood is nice. Unfortunately, if it’s nice it’s probably out of my budget.

I'm going to guess 10%.

Of the fifteen or so guns I own, the last 3 are SS and the last one of those is mostly ss & polymer. Most of of my time is spent in the SC lowcountry or the FL keys where I have a constant fight to keep the rust at bay. I made a promise to myself about 5 years back that I will never purchase another gun, long or pistol, that is not virtually rust proof. To me my guns are tool/toys to shoot, not just to look at and admire; not that my Ruger .44 mag Super Redhawk with matching stainless scope isn't a thing of beauty. I inherited a nearly unfired WWII 1911 45 and was shooting it at the range and had a couple of locals really give me a hard time about me "ruining" the 45 by shooting it. I explained that I have my guns to shoot them and if they thought that I shouldn't be destroying it's value, I'd sell it to them. After a little negotiations, I did sell it for enough to purchase a brand new Colt 1911A1A Series 80,which I have shot the hell out of and my first SS, a police trade-in S&W 639 9mm with a healthy bit of change left over. Up next may be a SS 1911 45, probably the new Ruger.

Surprisingly it's around 50% for me. I have a lot of beautifully made old pistols that came with plastic grips though. Walther PPK, Savage 1907 and Colt 1908 for example.

80%+ Are synthetic. Not much wood

I only have one plastic gun. A P-11 that bounces around in the truck. Everything else is blue, nickel, or stainless with wood. When I buy a gun with rubber grips, they get replaced with wood.

My ratio is 5 all traditional versus 6 with some or all "synthetic" components.

20 blue steel receiver and barrel in wood stocks or grips versus 18 with some mix of stainless/aluminum receiver, stainless/blue steel barrel or synthetic stock, but only 6 are pure synthetic all the way: stainless/aluminum receiver and stainless/lined-aluminum barrel and synthetic stock.

Maybe 10%..................

3 shotguns and the deer rifle are blued and wood. The Rem 870 is both so that kinda plays both sides of the isle. The AR and GP100 are stainless. And the two Glocks are, well you know. So I'm at 50/50. I'm kinda surprised, being such a Polymer fan I would think I would own more. Those single shot shotguns maintain the balance.
