Here's one you don't see every day, S&W 310

I would love to have a 10mm S&W revolver never shot one but a buddy of mine in WA. swears buy them. I would have a hard time giving that for a MIM lock gun but that is just me.

I saw a 4" 610 at the gun show today, asking price was $900. Condition appeared very good, with box. Not exactly the same gun, but sought after in it's own right. Saw a 396 with a blistering $1295 on it, which made me burst out in laughter.

What's it all mean? I guess there are not many around...

For a 310, that's a good price and I would
get one for that amount, after a good inspection.
I have 610's in 3", 4" and 6". 10mm revolvers
are pussycats to shoot. Same frame as the
44 magnum

That is reasonable price for that gun you should get it if you want 10x25 revolver.

This could well be a great candidate for woods and concrete carry.

The gun is in excellent condition, appears lightly used if at all. No clips but S&W sells those for $4 each.

$899 plus tax, good deal or no? Anyone here ever shot 10mm out of a revolver?

The Glock 29 is far superior combat weapon to this.

I got a 329 Nightguard for $100 less than that. Unfortunately I only got a half a box of ammo through it before it broke. It's back at S&W getting a new frame right now. By the way, I notice yours doesn't have the original grips on it. The originals are wrap around and very comfortable to shoot even with full power 44 magnums.

It's hard to improve on made for S&W Hogue grips when it comes to gun like this. Poor fella must have tried juicy 10mm (not standard ".40S&Ws" available in as 10mm at local gun stores) before he gave up and sold the gun. Personally I hate Hogue grips because they "stick" to light outer clothing but when it comes to recoil management there seems to be little else to choose from.
The reason 310 never got anywhere is due to availability of Night Guard in .357 and .44Mag. When it comes to light weight revolver I would rather choose between shooting .38 or .44Special.

I love my 610, I would swoop that up in a heartbeat if it fills a void for you.

The Old Fuff would wonder why the original owner sold it... :uhoh

Considering the recoil vs. the weight of the platform I can think of one potential reason. Also I would rather match a longer barrel with the 10mm cartridge. But if it rings your bell and you have the money, go ahead.
