I came across this IWB holster on another forum and it gets very positive reviews.

I like it for the fact that it has a cloth/neoprene section that sits against the skin. I hate the fact that when I carry IWB with my VM2 and just a T shirt or sweatshirt, the weapon digs into the bare skin.

I also do not like the comp-tac I have, nor will I wear the Crossbreed with its religious advertising clips. Plus neither has an inner "liner".

Does anyone have experience with this newer model of N82tactical?

Don't have experience with the N82.

Have you even tried the Crossbreed? Oh yeah, I forgot, it has that nasty old "religious advertising" on the clips.

You know there are probably like 100 companies offering the same style holster crossbreed makes? Without their clips.

There's even one (I can't find the company right now) with a leather lined shell.

No one has yet to explain to me how you can reliably get a good grip on your weapon with these n82 holsters, with the backing covering the grip.

Serious dude?

You have nothing to add except your issues with some people not wanting to buy a companies product because they plaster their religious beliefs on the products?

How's about taking that crap somewhere else?

I have the original version and they're good quality and very comfortable. Because of the design it can accomodate various pistol types. The only draw back with the original model is you need to be extra careful on the reholstering but considering its a conceal carry reholstering isn't that frequent or none at all.

Yes, there are many companies with similar designs and as I mentioned, I have a comp-tac and am not thrilled with it, again mostly because the rear of the slide/frame or the grip digs into the skin unless a shirt is worn underneath. Same goes for the VM2 or most other IWB holsters. That's what intrigued me about the N82, as it covers the whole area.

I've got one. Best holster I've used so far. Fits my 21, 26, and 19. It's comfortable, and it's quick to get on and off. I've been carrying in one for quite some time. Get's a little warm in summer, but it's not bad.

Well like I said, I can't imagine being able to quickly get a good grip with the backing the way it is.
It's no different than having an open-top holster and your skin being against the gun. I can get a very fast draw on the gun.
