I had a 17 that ate through everything and never had a malfunction the entire time I owned it.
skip to recently. the lady bought a gen 3 glock 26. the First day at the range we shot about 200 rounds. it had a several failures, twice it didnt fire when pulling the trigger, and twice it didnt eject the round and jammed. This was using Remington UMC, which isnt that great usually. Im not worried about this problem lol its not my gun and she cant hit a thing anyway.
We havent shot it since but she's shooting it today so wel see if it's still doing it.
NOW skip to this week. I picked up a gen 4 glock 19. Took it to the range and shot about 120 rounds. in the first 80 rounds, three jams. Each time the shell didnt eject, it actually just did a backflip in place and kept sticking in the slide backwards with the round underneath half jammed in the barrel. This was using PPU. I didnt clean the gun before shooting, it was brand new and clean enough. just a little lube.
This is dissapointing. Any ideas on whats causing the g19 problem?
Aside from the realiability issues, the 19 is my favorite of the bunch. I got very tight groups, and the balance/feel of the gun is perfect. It feels like it aims itself lol. When you pull it up to the target it alligned without feeling like you have to "tilt" it do to being back or front heavy.
