Put 50 rounds of 38 special through my Gp100 tonight and all I can say is wow. This trigger is so sweet! I can feel the break on every pull. Just had to tell someone. It's the talon version with 3" barrel btw.

Nice. I've got a 6" Stainless GP100. Try putting some 158 Grain .357's through it and your accuracy will improve. I reload 158 Gr XTPs over a healthy dose (near max) of H110 and it does very well.

Great gun, glad to hear you are enjoying it. My wife lets me shoot her GP100 collection from time to time, I always look forward to it.

The GP100 was my first handgun and I still have it some 20+ years later. I think my trigger is down to probably 3 lbs or so after many thousands of rounds through it. I hope to pass it on to my son when that time comes.

Just finished cleaning er up. Anyone else ever forget which cylinder they just finished cleaning? I think I did each of them 3 times while not keeping track. Lol.

Agreed. Ours is the nicest DA trigger we own including some vaunted Smiths and Colts.

For me it isn't just the smoothness and shortness of the pull but the arc of travel of the trigger relative to our grips and how I shoot the pistol.

Love it, love it love it!

I also have a 6" SS GP-100. I mounted a 2-6 power Simmons scope on it for longer distance target shooting. Rested at 25 yards I can consistently hold 6 shot groups around three quarters of an inch, under 2" groups at 50 yards. I am now working on my 100 yard shots on an 8 inch AR500 steel target.

The trigger on mine is fantastic, both single and double action. It is very accurate using everything from 2.7 grains of Bullseye with 148 grain wadcutters to 16.3 grains of 2400 behind 125 grain SJHP. This is the most fun revolver I've ever fired.

bought the Galco VHS shoulder rig to go with mine and it's even sweeter not having the weight on my hip. heck, i've even CCW'd with a jacket over the shoulder rig. absolutely love that gun. mine's blued and i'm currently looking for one in stainless to doll up with wooden grips. upgraded my blued GP100 with a fiber optic front sight and i can reach out and touch snakes at decent distances.

Nice GP noob.
Very pleased with my new 4" GP100 as well. Very smooth chambers, throats and bore. Very nice trigger pull. I'm doing my best ever DA shooting with it.

Thanks! I just need to pick out a holster for it. I actually emailed Alan at remora holsters to see if he'll make one up. I really like remoras for my lcr and g27.
