This just adds to the 100 other things that don't make sense about the whole thing. We will probably never know what really happened.

I thought the article made it clear on "why". I don't really agree, but it makes some sense. Of course if MORE of these events were sealed from the get-go, we'd be in a more peaceful country. Instead, the media jumps on it, report it as twisted as they see fit, then leave the rest of us to hash it out while they move on to the next twisted disaster in order to sell commercials.

It is hard to imagine their stated justification leading anywhere, It looks very unlikely there is anyone to arrest in the case, the shooter is dead and the legal gun owner is too.

Restricting information during an investigation is not uncommon. Come on, now is not the time to reinforce the delusional paranoid stereotypes of gun owners.

Unless they feel that there's a co-conspirator left out there, the only "state's interest" I can see is to keep the facts from view while gun control legislation is hot. What a load of crapola.

What new and undisclosed information do you think could exist that would influence people's views one way or the other regarding gun control issues?

There could potentially be others who committed crimes in providing the weapons, failing to report a known threat, etc. and they are most certainly trying to avoid disrupting those investigations. There is no boogey man conspiracy theory needed as nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

There are one heck of a lot of questions about what really happened in that school...

What does seem highly likely, Lanza was not carrying a longgun when he was approached by, and engaged in heated conversation with, the principal of the school who unfortunately lost her life trying to prevent any further violence.

What I have gathered as a likely scenario, Lanza approached the front door but could not enter.
He then shot out a window with the AR15 window then dropped the rifle, either because it had jammed or he could not get through the window with the rifle.
He entered the office area where he was met by the principal and at least one other woman.
The Principal, Dawn Hochsprung attempted to stop Lanza from going any further prompting a verbal exchange between the two.
An office attendant switched on the intercom, alerting teachers and others in the building of what was occurring, this also drove a janitor to run through the school telling teachers to lock their classrooms, turn off lights and hide the children.
Lanza walked away from the two women and continued down a hall grabbing classroom doors which were locked.
At some point, he turned and fired on two or possibly three women who were following him using a handgun and killing them.
He knew the Police were notified and enroute.
At that point he kicked the door open or shot the lock off of the classroom closest to him and entered.
The children and teacher were in the back of the classroom in a huddle.
He walked close and fired, probably using two handguns.
He may have fired and reloaded both guns at least once.
As the Police arrived on scene, he shot and killed himself.

A man cutting wood behind the school was detained and later released as a non involved individual.
Several construction workers were detained out in the parking lot, they were later released.

Two people were listed as wounded yet never identified.
Ryan Lanza was initially identified as the shooter, this proved untrue.
Both Ryan Lanza's roommate and girlfriend remain missing...
It is possible Adam Lanza kidnapped these individuals, brought them to the school, shot and wounded them prior to entering the school.
This remains hushed to protect them.

Please stop with the Government plot scenario, it just isn't true.
