What dies?

Using Lee dies on a Dillon, the lock ring needs to be replaced with the thinner dillon rings or some folks have said they put the ring on the under side of the toolhead. May work the same way with your red press.

Only die brands I've used successfully were Lee, Lyman, RCBS, Hornady, Redding and Forster. Never tried Dillon but the record suggests they must work pretty well too.

I like the Hornady Pistol dies the best on the LNL-AP. The main reason is that the sizer uses a Large Radius. This large radius makes it easier for the brass to enter with out hanging on the mouth. I tried a set of Lee 9mm dies when I got my press. They were too short, had to flip the locking ring upside down. Also when I got my set of Hornady dies in they required 1/2 the force as the Lee. The Hornady will run a lot smoother than the Lee, less press shake. And the cheap locking ring setup it will not stay set, it does not secure to the die. RCBS dies are good except the locking ring needs to be replaces with the Hornady split ring.

i got a LnL too and I prefer to use the nitride(sp?) Hornady dies.... they work well and since its from hornady you shouldn't see any compatibility issues with the LnL press

That is true, I have seen them work well...

I moved my 45 ACP and 38 Super Lee 4-die sets to my new LnL, along with my Pro Auto Disk. They work as well as the did on the LCT (extremely well). True, they are close to running out of threads on the die bodies, but, as long as they adjust to where I want them, I don't care how many unused threads I have left.
I haven't set up my 9mm yet, but don't anticipate any problem with them either.
Since I am using the Lee expander/flare/powder through die with the PAD, I had room to add an RCBS Lock-out die also, without having to buy additional parts to change the Hornady powder measure/expander setup.
