In your opinion what is the most sought after Noveske lower and what parts kit would you install? Which upper is a perfect match for Noveske?

i suppose the gen2 ones. the vltor uppers are very good fits and what noveske uses for their premium rifles. but you are paying a lot for the name with their normal ones. i think the gen2 has the flared magwell, but otherwise is quite similar to a regular lower.

The Gen 2 lowers have a flared mag well and an integral trigger guard, but otherwise fit all standard AR parts. I also second the suggestion of Vltor uppers for the Gen 2 lowers, as the flared magwell is a good aesthetic match for the squared off Vltor upper.

As far as their normal lowers go, you pay a premium for the roll mark. The vast majority of AR lowers all come from a handful of sources. You can get a lower of the same quality for less, but it won't have the Noveske cross on the side.

As far as lower parts kits go, there are numerous sources for mil-spec kits. The only suggestions I have is maybe look into an after market trigger such as a Geissele or ALG Defense ACT unit.

Ive put a few ars together and for the most part a lower is a lower. IF you want to pay twice as much to have that name on it go for it but dont think your getting a vastly superior lower. Its not the forgings that make a noveske a better gun its the parts they use and the quality of there barrels. That said there a great ar but in my opinion an overpriced ar. theres just not that many parts in an ar that can be improved on to justify twice the price of a colt. But then thats just a personal opinion and many will disagree.

I was looking at the Gen2 lower for a while, but handling a standard lower and the Gen2 at the same time, i decided i didn't want the extra weight and didn't think the flared magwell was worth the extra mass... but i was going for a light build.

I like the Gen II's just based on the flared magwell for faster reloads.

Wish the trigger guard was a bit larger (some sort of 'Winter Trigger'), the one they have in there as slightly too small.

...or even this would be better.
