Found a lot of .32 acp, what to get to shoot it.

I would love to have a 1903 Colt in bad enough shape that no one from here would hunt me down and beat me up for putting better sights on and some sort of finish that my under arm or belly roll sweat would not mess up.

While A 1911/.45ACP nut I feel the .32 ACP 7.65 browning short is a very underated cartridge in all respects. Many a soda can was holed with a Browning 1922 when I was younger, PP and PPk barked and yes even Ratty old Ruby autos did their share of soda container destruction. I suppose of the modern stuff if I lived where .32 was about all I could have I would go with the afore meantioned Beretta 84 series but would have a hard time choosing between the thin boy or the fat old man.

I occassionally use .32 ACP in a shell shrinker in a .308 bolt action rifle.

I would love to see someone make sort of a Pedersen device for rifles using the .32 ACP as a companion piece to say a P32.

No one would hunt for modifying your own gun..............but you might want to consider the concept of gun karma. :D

Walther PP?
Were you surprised at the suggestion, or are you not familiar with with the PP model? I think the PP is perfect for the .32 round, or the .32 is the best round for the PP.

So many neat little pocket guns were made in .32...

HK Model 4

(Only since noone else said so)

Otherwise:

PPK
Colt 1903
Savage 1907

I feel the same way. The 1903 isn't that rare of a piece, really, so I'd go for it if you could find one at the right price.

YES!! Finally there would be a reason to own a 1903 Mark I!

Walther PP and PPK immediately jump to mind.

Can't something in .327 Magnum also shoot .32ACP? Or is that a grey area?

on SOG right now:

CZ70 MILITARY PISTOL .32ACP
SHG-CZ70
$189.95

If you don't have a C&R you'll have to call them to order, but I can see they're in stock right now and look in great shape:

Product Description:
Produced in 1970 by the Czech armory, these are similar to the Walther PP pistol. Good to very good condition, 3 1/2” barrel, 6” overall, single or double action and 8 round mag capacity. These were sold commercially but most were produced for police agencies under the control of the Ministry of the Interior.

I shoot .32acp through my Ruger Single Six chambered in .32 H&R Mag. The jacketed bullets require much less clean up.

given any thought too firing it in revolvers?

smith 332 or a vaquaro in 32 H&R Magnum takes 32 long and 32 acp--it has a semi-rim. also a nagant x38 with a 32 acp cylinder. some older 32 top-brakes are great fun also.

the colt 1903 is slly expensive now. but a walter M4 or a mauser 1914 may still be under $500. saw a 1910 FN auction tonite for $389 + 50 in fees. seemed reasonable for its quality.

I'm going to go a bit different here:

Pardini SP or Benelli MP in .32

Great Target guns.
