Does this look like an L-Frame holster to anybody?

I bought this directly from Tagua's website. It's supposed to be for a 2.5" L Frame.

Here it is with my 686

Here is the holster with my J-Frame inserted.

I think the J frame fits pretty good.

Agreed. I think they put the wrong holster in the wrong package. There are no numbers on the holster to try to match it up to the package.

I emailed them. I'm sure they will make it right.

You shouldn't even be able to force an L-Frame to go in a J-Frame holster.

Might be for a K-Frame, but even thats a "stretch".

If it is for a K-Frame, the J-Frame shold be rattle around loose in it.

My K-Frame model 66 doesn't fit much better than the L-frame. I didn't take a picture of that since its a 4" and really looks silly in the holster.

There are little flaps that should somewhat cover either side of the trigger guard as well as an area molded for the cylinder. Neither of these line up with the trigger guard or the cylinder on the K, but are a good match on the J.

It is a little bit loose on my 642, but if the the break strap were slightly tighter, it would be a good enough fit. and I tried a Blackhawk #9 leather holster made for a j-frame and my L frame doesn't fit at all.

This may not be a J-Frame holster, maybe an SP-101 holster or something, but its for sure not an L frame holster.

You can usually get an L-Frame in a K-Frame holster, but that thing don't fit at all. Your holster is for a J-Frame.

I'm back to do an update on this saga. I have been speaking with customer service. I sent them the pictures and they agreed I had the wrong holster. Initially they wanted me to send it back on my dime. I told them I wanted them to send me a shipping label and an advance replacement. They agreed to send me the shipping label, but wouldn't send me a new holster until they received the old one back...I guess I understand. 3 days later they finally emailed me a FedEx label. 2 days later I sent it off (I was out of town when I received the label, so I sent it out immediate upon my return). That was last Thursday. Today FedEx dropped off the replacement. My origional order was for a left handed L (medium) frame thumb break holster, what they initially sent was either a J-Frame or SP-101 left handed holster in a Lefted handed L Frame package. The replacement that they sent was a right handed J-Frame holster. So still for the wrong gun, now also for the wrong side of my body...now it's double wrong. My money has been tied up for a month. I've had numerous discussions, and a trip to FedEx to get this resolved, and its now more wrong than before. I'm really disappointed in these guys. I really like their stuff, but **Edit to remove unkind words spoken in frustration** . I think at this point I'm going to persue a refund (I paid with PayPal), and I'm going to let them figure out how to recover this 2nd holster in a way that doesn't further inconvienvence me. I just wanted to vent.

The person I've been dealing with at Tagua did call and leave me a message yesterday while I was out. I called her back today and she is sending me the correct holster. I guess there was some confusion at their distribution center and now she is handling my replacement personally. Assuming the replacement is correct, I am back to feeling positive about this company. They had a couple of screw ups, but in the end they made it right.
